I have put this "going to hell" counter on the pictures of Hades page to represent the misconception of Hell in most churches. Hell, or Hades, means the grave. It does not mean a place of fire and suffering ruled by satan and his demons. The counter above is a "free web ministry tool" from a "Christian" site. I have posted it as an example of how most churches and church-goers have been deceived.

The Greek God Hades
The Greek god Hades is the mythological ruler of the underworld. The myth of Hades states that the underworld is simply that, the underworld.

The greek myths about hades are mentioned in the new testament because some of the text was written in Greece and in Greek, so the author used references to Hades in an attempt to bridge the used languages of the time.

You will remember that Pilate's inscription was written in Latin, Greek, and Hebrew. Therefore you will find traces of each language.

In the new testament, Hades does not mean the lake that burns with fire and sulphur. Hades does not mean the underworld of Greek mythology. Hades means the hole in the ground called the "grave".

"He who believes in him is not condemned; he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God."
Jesus Christ is the only name by which you can be saved. The lake that burns with fire and sulphur is hotter than "the fires of hades".

The Lake That Burns With Fire and Sulphur
NOW THAT'S WHAT I CALL HOT!

This part of the site is to dispell the myths of Hades and the greek god Hades.

"Fear not, I am the first and the last, and the living one; I died, and behold I am alive for evermore, and I have the keys of Death and Hades"

"It is indeed a terrible thing to fall into the hands of the Living God"
I will be very happy when satan falls into the hands of the Living God, the Almighty.

The word "Hades" means the grave. If you are really interested in greek mythology and Hades the greek god of the underworld, check out THEOI.COM

"Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might, for in the grave, where you are going, there is neither working nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom."

Hades is a myth.
Hell is real.
There is a cemetery in every city.
Hell means the grave
